During the amnesty period, individuals who choose to leave the country will not be subject to overstay fines, exit fees, or entry bans. Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, has directed relevant government officials to assist expatriates in obtaining legal documents. The Government of Pakistan is committed to facilitating its expatriates. The Embassy of Pakistan in the UAE is already assisting Pakistani expatriates and strongly encourages them to take advantage of this amnesty scheme in legalizing residency status or departing the UAE without facing penalties during this period.
