Q.1    Which documents are required for issuance of Death NoC from Embassy?

  1. Requests Letter.
  2. Hospital Internal Notification of Death.
  3. PCR Report (If body transported to Pakistan).
  4. Copy of Passport, Pakistani CNIC and Omani Resident Card of the deceased.
  5. Copy of Passport, Pakistani CNIC and Omani Resident Card of the applicant.
  6. Undertaking on stamp paper from the legal heirs of the deceased from Pakistan (If no legal heirs in Oman) along with copy of CNIC.
  7. Contact Numbers and details of family members.
  8. No Fee.

 

Q.2    Which documents are required for issuance of Transfer of Residence (TR) Letter?

 

  1. Requests Letter
  2. End of Contract/Resignation Acceptance Letter / Termination letter from the Company.
  3. Copies of Passport, Omani Resident Card and Pakistani CNIC.
  4. Fee challan of OMR 5.00/-

 

Q.3    How can I get NOC for Maid Visa?

          Following documents are required to get visa for House Maid.

 

  1. Request Letter.
  2. Copy of Passport, Omani Resident Card of the person who intends to bring the female worker from Pakistan.
  3. Minimum Age of the Housemaid:      35 years.
  4. Copy of Passport and CNIC of the female worker.
  5. Police Character Certificate of the intending female worker should be attested by Ministry of Foreign Office Pakistan.
  6. Affidavit from the parents (in case of single/divorced) or husband stating that they give her permission to travel to Oman on said visa. Documents should be attested by Foreign Office Pakistan.
  7. Health & life insurance for female house maid.
  8. Employment Contract.
  9. Fee Challan of OMR 5.00/-

 

Q.4    How can I get Marriage NOC from Pakistan Embassy in Oman?

          Following documents are required to get Marriage NOC.

 

  1. Applications from the male and female contracting marriage alongwith copies of Passports, Pakistani CNICs and Omani Resident Cards.
  2. Affidavit from both parents of the applicants stating they give permission to boy / girl to marry alongwith copies of their Passport, Pakistani CNIC and Omani Resident Card (optional).
  3. No Marriage Certificate of the applicant issued by Union Council attested by Foreign Office Pakistan.
  4. 2 Photographs of each applicant.
  5. Fee Challan of OMR 5.000/-

Q.5    Which documents are required for Attestation of Job Demand in the Embassy of Pakistan, Muscat?

Following documents are required for Attestation of Job Demand.

 

  1. Power of Attorney and Demand Letter duly attested from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oman.
  2. Copy of Work Permit Approval (Mezonya) of Ministry of Manpower, Oman
  3. Copy of Commercial Registration Certificate (CR)
  4. Copy of Resident Card of the Employer.
  5. Copy of Valid Overseas Employment Promoter (OEP) License.
  6. Fee challan of OMR 26.880 (OMR 13.440 & OMR 13.440 each for POA and Demand Letter) 

Q.6    If my passport is lost can I make new passport without police report.

Ans.   As per new instructions of the Government of Pakistan, Overseas Pakistanis can apply for new passport without filing police report.

Q.7.   What should I do if my employer does not pay me salary / violate the job contract / block my residence status?

 Ans. In case of any issue with the employer, it is advised to immediately file a complaint with the Labour Department as per instructions of the Government of Oman.
